Rob Gregor joined the firm in 2022 as a member of the Litigation and Hospitality Practice Groups. His practice focuses on representing hospitality enterprises, start-ups, established businesses and private persons with litigation and corporate related matters including strategic planning, shareholder derivative claims, corporate formation and dissolution, breach of contract disputes, land disputes, Article 78 proceedings and regulatory and criminal investigations.

Robert received his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in 2000 and graduated magna cum laude from Cornell Law School in 2007. In between undergraduate and law school, Robert founded Sova Consultants, a hotel consulting firm specializing in feasibility studies for the lodging industry and was a regular contributor in several industry periodicals. After law school, Robert worked as a corporate attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison, LLP in Manhattan specializing in mergers and acquisitions of publicly traded companies and private equity firms.

Robert is the former Executive Director of the Leland C. and Mary M. Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship at Cornell University and teaches entrepreneurship at Cornell University’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration.  In addition to the practice of law and teaching, Robert is the owner of four independent hotels in Lake George, New York.
